Best Garden in My Business Directory

Tucked into Marine Peace Park on the Salmon Arm waterfront, the World Youth Friendship Garden is a small, quiet garden space celebrating friendship, peace and the connections young people make across cultures. Marine Peace Park itself was dedicated to peace and tolerance, with a Peace Grove of trees symbolizing Canada's provinces and territories, and the garden sits a short stroll from the Salmon Arm Wharf, with views over the bay and its bird sanctuary. It is an easy stop on a waterfront walk — bring a coffee, watch for herons, and enjoy one of the calmest corners of downtown Salmon Arm. If you catch the garden in bloom, tag @theshuswaploop; we love featuring reader photos of Shuswap green spaces in our stories and spotlights.

29 acres of picturesque gardens with walking paths, plus seasonal carnival rides & holiday events.
